Transition Finance Council Roundtable
30 Fenchurch St, Plantation Place, London EC3M 3BD
About this Event
The Transition Finance Council intends to publish a consultation on Guidelines for Credible Transition Finance.
This event will bring together stakeholders from multiple jurisdictions, including public and private sector actors, to share international perspectives, discuss the direction of travel, and explore practical solutions to common challenges. This is a valuable opportunity to help shape guidance that is globally coherent, while also flexible enough to be workable in different jurisdictions and responsive to local contexts.
This will be a key opportunity to input into the shaping of the Guidelines before the consultation is published later this summer.
We will share a full agenda and pre-read materials closer to the time. At a high level, the session will explore:
• How to assess credible transition finance for aligned/aligning entities;
• How emerging guidance could complement and connect with global regional or national frameworks and taxonomies;
• Barriers to scaling transition finance, and the role of practical tools and guidance in addressing them.
