The World Risk Poll Resilience Index: what does it mean for disaster risk reduction?
About this Event
On June 26, Lloyd’s Register Foundation is hosting a free webinar in partnership with the Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction, to discuss insights from the latest edition of the World Risk Poll Resilience Index – launching June 19.
The 2023 Resilience Index is based on around 147,000 interviews in 142 countries and provides a unique data resource for understanding the resilience and vulnerabilities of countries and communities worldwide.
Attendees will hear from an international panel of disaster risk reduction and resilience experts, as they explore how global levels of individual, household, community, and societal resilience have changed since the previous Resilience Index was published in 2022. The World Risk Poll Resilience Index provides the most holistic assessment of resilience available at a global level, while also providing the regional and demographic granularity to help ensure no one is left behind.
