The World Restoration Economy Lunch: Investing in Nature
Kindred Bradmore House Queen Caroline St London W6 9BW
About this Event
A lunchtime discussion looking at how to mobilize finance at scale to restore and invest in nature and Nature-based Solutions (NbS). The session will highlight WWF’s role in supporting NbS projects, particularly in the Amazon region. How to balance integrity with bankability?
A small group of dynamic guests will share innovative examples and discuss how far and fast we can accelerate a paradigm shift to unlock investment at scale. Expect a frank and forward-looking conversation on how best we support nature recovery as we head towards COP30 in Brazil.
The private sector, including through TNFD, plays a critical role in powering finance and adopting Nature-based solutions. Over lunch, guests will discuss how those working in finance and conservation can align for environmental, economic, and community benefits.
This lunch is part of Nature Day, a day-long series of events at Kindred bringing nature and biodiversity to the heart of London Climate Action Week, presented by WWF and Project Everyone.
WWF and Project Everyone
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is the world’s leading conservation organisation. WWF works to help local communities conserve the natural resources they depend upon; transform markets and policies toward sustainability; and protect and restore species and their habitats: efforts that ensure that the value of nature is reflected in decision-making from a local to a global scale.
Project Everyone seeks to put the power of great communication behind the global goals.
