The People’s Table: Food for Thought, Action, and Policy
LCAW Food Hub 18 Wine Office Ct, London EC4A 3JR
About this Event
Join us for a high-level international forum at the LCAW Food Hub — The People’s Table: Food for Thought, Action, and Policy — bringing together policymakers, youth leaders, and community organisers from Brazil and the UK to explore food systems as pathways to climate resilience and social justice.
The day opens with a dynamic Long Table session, organised in partnership with People’s Palace Projects, where youth leaders will share stories from their communities and advocacy work. This is followed by a series of panel discussions featuring leading voices in food policy, including representatives from both the Brazilian and UK governments. The sessions will examine food systems from multiple perspectives — spanning local initiatives to global frameworks.
The day concludes with a festive collective meal, creating space to connect, reflect, and celebrate shared efforts towards a more equitable food future in the lead-up to COP30.
