Climate finance will be at the forefront of multilateral climate discussions and negotiations this year. Germany together with key partners is pushing for an ambitious new climate finance target. What needs to happen between now and COP29 to pave the way for an ambitious climate finance target and ensure that climate finance works for everyone, especially the most vulnerable? What is expected from governments and what can they deliver? What can and should the private sector contribute?
The first 2024 edition of the Climate Talks London with Jennifer Morgan, State Secretary and German Special Envoy for International Climate Action aims at creating a space for this important and timely conversation.
