The Future Leaders Roundtable

Somerset House, Strand, London, WC2R 1LA

About this Event

Technology is currently driving individual deskilling, social fracture and ecological
collapse. The next generation is forced to navigate this world and challenged to change
its trajectory.

Our collective imagination is being shaped by utopian and dystopian narratives. Both
drive inaction and apathy. We need a technology-critical generation that acknowledges
technology is here to stay – and could become a force that regenerates society and
ecology.

Our traditional education systems, outpaced by the complexity of technological
change, are failing to host the required conversations. We cannot rely on ‘the
university’ to lead. We need spaces in which the next generation can collectively sense-
make and restore agency over our technological future.

The Regenescape invites you to our first roundtable, taking place during London
Climate Action Week. It will bring together technologists, educators, social
entrepreneurs, philanthropists and future leaders to explore what is needed in the next
generation to design and relate to technology differently.

Our invite-only roundtable discussion will be held under Chatham House rules.

The Regenescape

The Regenescape is a UK based organisation focused on helping people design and build value-informed technology that improves society and the environment.

We run a publication along with independent workshops to educate and empower the next generation of leaders in technology. We want to see technology become a force that regenerates social and ecological landscapes. This means doing technology differently.

Our mission:
Empowering future leaders to shape our technological future toward regeneration, not extraction.
