Super Pollutants, Air Quality, and Public Health Panel

QEII Centre, Moore Room, London

About this Event

Building on the momentum from the World Health Organization’s 2nd Conference on Air Pollution & Health held in Cartagena, Colombia in March, this event carries forward key themes from the Conference including the clear case for integrated action on climate and air quality, how air pollution negatively impacts health and wellbeing, the need for cooperation at all levels of government and the proven solutions that already exist. Speakers will include leading voices from across the clean air, climate, and health nexus.

Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), Clean Air Fund (CAF)

The UNEP-Convened Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is a partnership of 190 governments, intergovernmental organizations, and non-governmental organizations. It works to reduce powerful but short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) – methane, black carbon, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and tropospheric ozone – that drive both climate change and air pollution.

The Clean Air Fund is a global philanthropic organisation that works with governments, campaigners, researchers, funders and businesses to create a world where everyone breathes clean air.
