Mansion House, Walbrook, London EC4N 8BH

About this Event

The second annual State of Climate Politics Forum is a flagship event at London Climate Action Week. Hosted by international climate change think tank E3G, the forum will feature prominent political leaders, policy makers, climate leaders, practitioners and experts. This high-level forum draws a global audience of leaders from across politics, foreign policy, international institutions and civil society.

Set at the midpoint in 2025, the State of Climate Politics Forum is a crucial platform for assessing dynamic geopolitical and political change and the progress and prospects for climate action. It invites leading voices and thinkers to engage in pivotal conversations on how to craft the politics and geopolitics necessary for climate safety at the midpoint of the critical decade for climate action.

E3G offers a unique forum to assess:

– Climate leadership from London to Belem in 2025

– Risk, resilience and science in the politics of 2025

– The geopolitics of international finance reform

– Green deal, climate and security in the EU

– Clean economy acceleration and shifting geopolitics

– The political economy of climate transitions in the real world

– Information warfare, public opinion and delivering climate action.

Participants will engage in a series of keynotes, panels, and facilitated conversations. The forum aims to harness the collective expertise, sentiments, and insights of attendees and provide a moment of learning and dialogue that elevates our collective ambition beyond our current risk exposure.
