About this Event
SOStainability is hosting the SPARC Staffordshire event to engage stakeholders in business, government, non-profit, and the academic community in reflecting on Staffordshire’s sustainability trajectory as a place. Key outcomes will include a shared understanding of the net zero journey, including achievements and challenges encountered, and the expressed commitment of stakeholders to step up on sustainability ambitions, targets, and implementation.
The event will be held on June 26, 2025, at the Innovation Centre 6, Denise Coates Foundation Building, Keele University. Speakers are Emma Baines, Regional Hub Manager (West Midlands) of the Climate Ambassadors Scheme, JAS Bahra of AMW Renewables, Oke Epia, Director of SOStainability. As value addition, Participants will be taken on a tour of the Horwood Energy Centre at Keele

SOStainability is a social venture for promoting sustainability and responsible climate action by businesses, communities, governments, and non-governmental entities. By placing the NHS at the centre of sustainability, we hope to shift the paradigm away from an obligatory and compliance mindset to one of an intrinsic sense of stewardship and loyalty to nature, humanity and society.
