About this Event

Held in the format of a “fireside” chat, this event focuses on the importance of catalyzing investment in clean air and climate initiatives, and highlight action already being taken by the CCAC Clean Air Flagship, including the Africa Clean Air Programme and the Air Quality Management Exchange Platform. Speakers include representatives from the Climate and Clean Air Coalition, the Clean Air Fund, the World Bank, as well as leading climate and health philanthropies.

Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), Clean Air Fund (CAF)

The UNEP-Convened Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is a partnership of 190 governments, intergovernmental organizations, and non-governmental organizations. It works to reduce powerful but short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) – methane, black carbon, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and tropospheric ozone – that drive both climate change and air pollution.

The Clean Air Fund (CAF) is a global philanthropic organisation that works with governments, campaigners, researchers, funders and businesses to create a world where everyone breathes clean air.
