Running Out of Time 2024

Carbon Copy is a UK charity inspiring more big-thinking local action for climate and nature. This year, we are proud to be the official podcast of Running Out of Time, a mass participation event in the name of climate action. From Ben Nevis to Big Ben, this extraordinary event passes through 50 cities and towns and is within easy reach of 20 million people – a third of the UK’s population.

Along the route and over 19 podcast episodes, we will showcase amazing people and places that are leading the race to net zero, as well as cover breath-taking natural landscapes and inspiring projects that are tackling the biodiversity crisis.

This unique event starts ahead of LCAW and runs until early July: platforming diverse, place-based initiatives that address the climate and biodiversity crises; bringing organisations together to channel collective action; and mobilising people at scale. The podcast special will share stories and examples of leadership that will stay with listeners long after the event finishes.

For LCAW attendees, this is a listening session to catch up on the action earlier in June, to follow the excitement while LCAW is happening and perhaps to join the big finale in Westminster, in celebration of collective climate action.
