The RAeS Sustainability Conference, taking place on the 24th and 25th June in London and online, will bring together experts from across the industry to shape the future of sustainable aerospace, asking tough questions and addressing the opportunities and challenges about the future of flight in a sustainability conscious world.
Key topics to be discussed during the Sustainability Conference include:
• The impact of aviation on climate change and carbon reduction strategies.
• Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF): production, scalability, and the policy and regulatory frameworks to accelerate the adoption of SAF.
• Contrail Management Operations: the operational challenges and strategies for managing contrails, as well as practical approaches, advanced technologies and data analytics.
• Electric and Hybrid Aircraft: battery and hydrogen fuel cell technology developments, infrastructure requirements, and design challenges.
• Air Traffic Management optimisation including the integration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into the airspace.

The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) is, with more than 150 years of history, the world's oldest aeronautical society dedicated to the advancement of aerospace, aviation, science, and engineering.
