Roundtable Discussion: “Upscaling Energy Transition in Indonesia Through Sustainable Financing” with Mr. Rachmat Kaimuddin, Deputy Coordinating Minister for Transportation and infrastructure,” on Tuesday, 25 June 2024, from 9:00 to 10:30 BST.
Held on the sidelines of London Climate Action Week, co-hosted by the Embassy of Indonesia and TheCityUK, and supported by BritCham, this event will convene key stakeholders, experts, and policymakers to explore innovative financing strategies for driving Indonesia’s strategy on climate change ambition, green economic investment including energy transition and electric vehicles expansion.
The discussion will focus among others on, Indonesia’s current efforts to achieve low carbon economy through a massive promotion of electric vehicles, development of alternative renewables value, as well as latest updates of Indonesia Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) USD 20 billion financing commitment following the publication of Comprehensive Investment and Policy Plan (CIPP), outlining potential priority areas of investment, pivotal to bolster Indonesia’s energy transition effort.
