Roundtable: A Breath of Fresh Air – How Collaboration is Improving London’s Air Quality
The Swedish Residence 27 Portland Place London W1B 1QAAbout this Event
Poor air quality is a significant public health issue for London and many cities around the world – with diesel compact machines being a major emitter of harmful pollutants. Low emission zones are acting to improve urban air quality, but within many of these regulations, construction equipment falls under the radar. If these machines were replaced with electric-powered alternatives, both air pollution and noise would be significantly reduced. With other societal and industry leaders and experts across the value chain, we will put the spotlight on this opportunity during a roundtable.
Hosted by the Embassy of Sweden for the UK in collaboration with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, with the support of Volvo Construction Equipment.
The Embassy of Sweden in London is led by Ambassador Stefan Gullgren and is tasked with representing Sweden and the Swedish government in the United Kingdom.
