Reverberant Ecologies: Myth, Matter, and the Feminine

About this Event
Presented by SuperSATELLITE and curated by Giada Holland and Yenah Kim, Reverberant Ecologies: Myth, Matter, and the Feminine is a group exhibition featuring artists Elina Yumasheva, Issy Wilson, and Kahee Jeong. Taking place from 25 to 29 June 2025 at the SuperSATELLITE studio, the exhibition brings together artistic practices that encompass myth, ecology, and eco-feminist modes of forming knowledge and relationships.
Opening during Climate Month, the exhibition responds directly to the urgent need for deeper ecological awareness and more-than-human kinship. Reverberant Ecologies explores how art can offer not only critique, but care—reimagining our relationship with the Earth through practices that centre interdependence, storytelling, and environmental attunement.
Drawing from the original meaning of “ecology” (oikos – the Greek word for “home”), the exhibition reimagines nature not as a passive resource, but as a living system—a breathing household we share, and a being with which we are intimately entangled. Through works made with natural pigments, handmade paper, textiles, and sensor-based installations, the three artists build a space that pulses with movement, care, and connection.
