About this Event

Part of the Fleet Street Quarter Climate Festival, this session will look at how city makers can drive forward the retrofit revolution and what is needed to incentivise low carbon solutions, as the climate emergency demands much greater focus on the sustainable refurbishment of existing buildings, rather than demolition and rebuild.

The talk will take place in the marketing suite at Peterborough Court, which is currently undergoing a sustainable retrofit managed by Intense Capital. Through the festival, Fleet Street Quarter, the Business Improvement District for the City of London’s Fleet Street area, aims to help businesses in the area and beyond accelerate their efforts to transition to net zero.

Moderator: Heather Buchanan, Chief Executive and Co-Founder, Bankers for Net Zero

Panellists include:

•            Phillip Bennison, Managing Director, Intense Capital

Fleet Street Quarter, 43 hectares on the west side of the City of London, is the business improvement district for the Fleet Street area. The 2-day Climate Festival’s overarching theme is ‘Creating a blueprint for a more sustainable future.’
