Resilient landscapes for resilient supply chains

The Green House, 244-254 Cambridge Heath Rd, Cambridge Heath, London E2 9DA

About this Event

Today’s most pressing global challenges – climate change, ecological breakdown, and social inequality – are deeply interconnected and increasingly material to business performance. These systemic risks cannot be addressed in siloes. The landscape approach offers a strategic, place-based approach to not just contextualise nature-related risks, but address these issues at root cause through collective action, working to secure resilient landscapes – where people and nature can thrive while securing supply of critical natural resources. With increasingly volatile and vulnerable global supply chains, and nature risk endemic across global portfolios, the private sector has a critical stake in – and powerful role in securing – the long-term resilience of production landscapes.

While awareness of landscape approaches is growing, we are not seeing landscape investment and action at the scale and pace needed. This event focuses on HOW to unlock much-needed private sector investment and action, through leveraging consensus across frameworks and practice, differentiating robust, well governed and inclusive landscape initiatives, and getting credible data in the right places to inform decision-making.

This event is aimed at those working at the intersection of business, finance and nature and interested in unlocking credible landscape action at scale.
