Join Queering Climate for an informal evening to celebrate queer climate leadership with drinks and networking. Queers + Allies welcomed!
We are in a climate emergency with unchecked inequality and rising homophobia around the world. On the occasion of London Climate Action Week, we ask: how can queering the ways we convene and collaborate – by centering queer identities and liberation principles – help us move beyond the status quo?
On Wednesday, 26 June, help us queer London Climate Action Week and imagine radical possibilities to address the climate and intersecting crises we face. Join us for an informal evening of drinks and networking to ‘fill up your cup’ in the middle of LCAW. Hosted by a collective of queers, we will prioritise the participation of queer folks and welcome allies to join us.
About Queering Climate: Queering Climate is a community and collaborative studio connecting, supporting and celebrating queerness in climate spaces and beyond. Launched during New York Climate Week 2023, we aim to be a sandbox for queer folks to connect and co-create new ideas that reimagine and advance climate action rooted in queer liberation.
