Ocean & River Lovers Art Show by Selva Ozelli for 2025 LCAW
Online event
About this Event
London Climate Action Week 2025 (LCAW) will take place from June 21-29. LCAW is focused on building momentum for COP30 to mobilise broad engagement for deep decarbonization.
The Ocean and River Lovers art show by Selva Ozelli raises awareness and inspires action to address the global climate change and plastic pollution crisis as a major threat to the health of the ocean and rivers, which harms marine life, disrupts ecosystems, and even impacts human health. The art show draws attention to the protection of our oceans and rivers, which absorb most of the carbon in the air, with 70 new paintings that fit the theme of LCAW.
These paintings have been or are on exhibit at:
Havre de Grace Maritime Museum
CUHK Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change
Lord Howe Island Museum
Gallery 310 Riverside Drive

Climate Heritage Network & Oceanic Global
The Climate Heritage Network (CHN) is a voluntary, mutual support network of government agencies, NGOs, universities, businesses, and other organizations committed to tackling climate change and achieving the ambitions of the Paris Agreement.
Mobilized in 2018 during the Global Climate Action Summit and launched in 2019, the Climate Heritage Network works to re-orient climate policy, planning, and action at all levels to account for dimensions of culture - from arts to heritage.
In the day-to-day of modern life, humanity has forgotten that we are part of nature and that the ocean is our planet’s beating heart.
Oceanic Global reminds us of humanity’s original role in Earth's broader ecosystem and guides us in restoring equilibrium with the Ocean and the natural world.
