ISSB is coming to the UK: perspectives from standard setters, preparers and users

International Sustainability Standard Board (ISSB) standards are becoming a global sustainability reporting standard with over 35 jurisdictions reporting or taking steps to introduce the reporting. The ISSB is also further integrating other sustainability requirements, such as assuming responsibility for the Transition Plan Taskforce’s disclosure materials and partnering with the Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures.
With the UK expected to adopt ISSB standards, replacing the current TCFD framework, EY will hold a panel convening Sue Lloyd, Vice Chair of the ISSB, early corporate adopters of IFRS S1 and S2, and users of this information from the financial sector to discuss implementation and good-practice disclosures. Key to this discussion is bringing together the real economy, financial services and investor community to discuss perspectives.
