Investing for sustainability impacts and advancing the UK transition

This one-day event, convened by leading responsible investment organisations, will provide insights into policy developments and investment practice aiming to address today’s key sustainability challenges. The first half of the day, hosted by the PRI, UNEP FI and the Generation Foundation, will feature the launch of the final Legal Framework for Impact report. The afternoon will bring together UK policymakers, regulators, and investment industry stakeholders to discuss sustainable finance policy priorities for the incoming UK government.

Part 1: A Legal Framework for Impact: final report launch  

Join the PRI, UNEP FI and the Generation Foundation in presenting the final report from the Legal Framework for Impact project, a keynote address, and a panel discussion on how investors can contribute to sustainability goals, and what is needed to support them and accelerate action.

Part 2: Advancing the UK transition 

This section is intended to identify the key priorities for policymakers on steps to ensure a successful transition to a net zero financial system at pace, as well as an opportunity to reflect on the state of play of UK sustainable finance policies.

We will hear from leading organisations and experts to showcase market-leading practice on tackling the transition on the industry side, and policymakers to present strategies on sustainable finance priorities.
