This session will bring together leaders from the public and private sectors to explore how we can address the retreat from development finance and collaborate effectively to meet emerging market and climate priorities. Key topics will include:
(i) How to fill the (increasing) gap in development finance;
(ii) Assessment of the barriers (and opportunities) for both the private and public sectors to support emerging markets and climate solutions, aligned to SDGs and on the path to Net Zero and
(iii) Route-map for how we (public and private sector) work together to balance domestic and international priorities

In advance of the event, we will release a White Paper (to be shared in early June) that outlines the key challenges and opportunities across the international climate finance landscape. The event will build on the themes and ideas shared in this paper, offering a space for open dialogue, insight-sharing and practical recommendations.
