BLISS - BLACK LEADERS IN SUSTAINABILITY SPACES
BLISS is a community to empower and connect black leaders in the sustainability profession. Studies from IEMA show that sustainability professionals identifying as black and non-white minorities only make up 3% of the profession. Only 1-2% of black students took up any environmental-related subjects. There is room to amplify our voices and shape this profession.
BLISS hosts community events and networking opportunities to bring Black sustainability professionals and supporters together.
BLISS is a not-for-profit community, we will do the event planning, booking and facilitation entirely free. A pay what you can minimum of £5 is encouraged to support the venue and light refreshments.
