Green Grids Initiative (GGI), hosted by HSBC

The GGI is a UK Government funded initiative which aims to be the uniting voice on grids globally, driving action to build and modernise essential grid infrastructure to enable the energy transition. Originally launched by the UK and India by Prime Ministers Johnson and Modi at COP26 alongside India's One World One Sun One Grid (OSOWOG), the GGI has a proven record of convening governments, industry, finance, academia and civil society to develop and share approaches to tackle the key challenges for grids through coordinating and supporting its four working groups on Finance, Supply Chains, Asia-Pacific and Africa.
