Financing deforestation-free commodity supply chains: delivering sustainable business growth, investment returns and climate action
Address will be given upon invitationAbout this Event
Taking place during London Climate Action Week, this event will bring together a select group of investors, corporates, and public sector actors to highlight the distinct roles each can play in delivering the transition to deforestation-free commodity supply chains. The key objectives are as follows:
· Provide insights into how investing in deforestation-free supply chains can deliver business growth, investment returns, and support the transition to net-zero and nature-positive economies.
· Showcase innovative financial mechanisms and collaborations, and foster discussion on the role of different types of finance in delivering deforestation-free supply chains.
· Explore examples and opportunities of how corporate and investor partnerships can deliver the finance needed to scale and accelerate these supply chain transitions.
· Launch the forthcoming MFF LCIP research brief, “Deforestation-free commodities: Investing in Deforestation-Free Supply Chains as a Strategic Imperative” .
This invite-only event is geared towards investors seeking to build deforestation-free, climate, and nature-positive portfolios, corporates using or seeking investment to help deliver their deforestation-free supply chain commitments and growth objectives, and public sector actors exploring how their support can contribute to their sustainable economic growth, development, and climate objectives.

The Mobilising Finance for Forests' Learning, Convening and Influencing Platform (MFF LCIP)
Mobilizing Finance for Forests (MFF) program is funded by the UK government and the government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. MFF was established in 2021 by the UK government and FMO as a blended finance investment program to combat deforestation and other environmentally unsustainable land use practices contributing to global climate change. The Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs joined MFF as a second funder in 2024.
As part of MFF, the Learning, Convening & Influencing Platform (LCIP) seeks to increase the scale and impact of investments in forests, sustainable land use, and nature by delivering and disseminating research, briefing papers, guidance, and investment blueprints to increase investors' capacity to invest in forests and sustainable land use.
