EBI live: Incorporating UN SDGs in infrastructure planning
About this Event
EBI live events – insights to drive purpose, certainty and pace in infrastructure planning
The Enabling Better Infrastructure (EBI) Live session will take place on 24 June, from 09:00 to 10:00 BST. Attendees will hear from David Clubb, Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission for Wales, who will speak about the development of the Wales Wellness Goals, which incorporate the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as the baseline for infrastructure planning.
The event will bring together leading policy makers from around the world to discuss the topic. It will start an informal on-record discussion between a speaker, EBI Chair, Prof. Jim Hall, and an EBI Steering Group member. This will be followed by an off-record open discussion with other senior government officials responsible for strategic infrastructure planning.
The event aims to foster open discussion and knowledge-sharing among a collaborative network of peers. After the event, a non-attributable write-up and short video clips of the informal Q&A discussion are added to the EBI webpage.
About EBI – Enabling strategic infrastructure planning to meet people’s needs
These invitation-only events for senior government officials worldwide are part of the ICE-led EBI programme. This event is invite-only. However, ICE welcomes recommendations on government or policy professionals who may find value in attending. Please get in touch with policy@ice.org.uk to indicate interest in attending.
