Join CLASP and partners for a happy hour event to explore innovative, impact-forward climate solutions from the Global South!
The international community needs a deep bench of proven, effiective solutions to meet this critical moment in the climate crisis. Across the Global South, changemakers are deploying innovative approaches that have the potential to slash emissions and unlock green jobs and livelihoods, protect health, support energy access, and improve air quality. A coordinated effort to scale these solutions globally would get us strides closer to critical net zero and adaptation targets.
This session highlights climate strategies and progress from across the Global South, from integrating doubling energy efficiency targets in national climate targets, to tackling super pollutants like methane, to providing accessible, solar alternatives to diesel generators. We will outline these climate innovations and approaches, and explore what is needed to bring them to scale.
Following this, CLASP will provide an intimate, personable setting to network and meet experts and international peers over light snacks and drinks.
