This June, Centre for London and Sustainable Ventures are bringing together 120 of the brightest minds in clean tech and climate policy to discuss ‘Decarbonising London and Unlocking Green Growth for Net Zero by 2030’ at the County Hall Hub, as part of a groundbreaking event series during London Climate Action Week 2025.
With Sustainable Venture’s ecosystem of over 850+ climate startups and Centre for London’s unique position as the capital’s only independent think tank, this is a rare chance to be in the room with the people shaping the future of climate innovation in the capital – from investors and entrepreneurs to policymakers and industry leaders.
Over the last few years, we’ve seen some progress tackling London’s environmental challenges. Emissions have halved, air quality has improved, the city is less congested and is one of the greenest in the world. However, many of the challenges have persisted and deepened. Toxic air contributes to 4,000 premature deaths a year. Extreme heat and flooding due to the climate crisis pose lethal risks to the city.
Join us to discuss public policies, ideas and ‘asks’ focused on the best way to promote inclusive, green growth on the road to achieving the GLA’s ambitious Net Zero 2030 targets.
