Connecting Health and Climate Action in London

‘We need to become more joined-up.’ This is the simple idea which underpins OnePlanet. Our health, economy, climate, communities and natural world are all interconnected. For instance, if we destroy the climate, we destroy our economy. We need the tools to visualise and manage this interconnectedness.

Objectives
With our partners in London, we will discuss the benefits of systems-mapping in coordinating action on climate, health, and equity, featuring:
- Impact on Urban Health joining up climate and health in local communities in Southwark and Lambeth
- Mapping of Borough climate and health strategies in Westminster and Haringey
- Connections to wider GLA and national strategies
This will be followed by a facilitated conversation, giving participants the opportunity to discuss leveraging the benefits of a systems-led approach and further possibilities for collaboration.
