Climate Narratives in Action: Brazil and Global Collaboration Towards COP30
Coal Drops Yard, 79-81 Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross, London N1C 4DQ
About this Event
Join us at Coal Drops Yard on June 25th during London Climate Week 2025 for an inspiring conversation on the power of storytelling, collaboration, and innovation in climate and nature advocacy.
As Brazil prepares to host COP30, representatives from Arapyaú, Alana Foundation, and Earthshot Prize will explore how diverse narratives and powerful examples and solutions can reshape global perceptions, evoke emotional resonance, and accelerate impactful decision-making among communities, opinion leaders, and policymakers worldwide. Together, we’ll uncover innovative approaches, including emerging nature-centered technologies, which captivate and engage broader audiences, changing narratives around climate solutions and biodiversity conservation.
With Brazil hosting COP30, we have a unique opportunity to leverage inspiring new narratives that foster climate optimism, scaling up and democratizing essential solutions globally.
This is an invitation-only event. Please contact internacionalclima@arapyau.org.br for more information.
Instituto Arapyaú, Instituto Alana and Earthshot Prize
The Instituto Arapyaú is a Brazilian philanthropic institution that promotes development based on the appreciation of natural, social and economic dimensions.
We articulate and mobilize civil society, philanthropy, academia, the public and private sector to foster transformative networks capable of creating systemic and scalable solutions that respond to challenges such as climate change and the loss of biodiversity. We believe in collaboration and diversity as the only way to tackle these issues.
Instituto Alana: Communication, advocacy and information for the rights of children and adolescents. Alana Institute’s mission is to honor children. We shed light on and elevate, in a distinctive manner, sensitive issues related to childhood. Our goal is to foster collective responsibility for the care and protection of children, strengthening families, government, and the many institutions that shape a child’s growth. Our guiding value is “to care,” bridging social and environmental dynamics with the power of individual and collective actions by our network. The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals serve as our compass for creating a better future.
Founded by HRH Prince William in 2020, the Earthshot prize is a global environmental prize designed to discover, spotlight and scale groundbreaking solutions to the world’s greatest environmental challenges.
