About this Event

The Climate Innovation Forum returns for the 6th year as a Flagship Event of London Climate Action Week on Thursday 27 June in London’s Guildhall. The Climate Innovation Forum will include a series of roundtables running concurrently with the main agenda. Hosted by our partners, these facilitated, 60-minute, deep-dive discussions will explore specific challenges and opportunities of delivering a net zero, just and sustainable world.

Unlocking tipping points in industrial decarbonisation roundtable hosted by Mission Possible Partner

Getting to critical tipping points in hard-to-abate sectors requires hundreds of commercial scale projects across seven sectors to be up and running by 2030, meaning decisions must be taken in the next 2-3 years.

MPP’s new Global Project Tracker shows that certain policy and market decisions are having outsized effects and are rapidly emerging as levers that can create exponential progress and move projects rapidly through the pipeline.

We explore these levers and discuss the policy decisions, asking what needs to be unlocked to roll these out faster to bring the industrial sectors to their critical tipping points this decade?
