Decarbonising the UK housing stock roundtable hosted by Santander

Decarbonising the UK housing stock is an infrastructure challenge of the first order. In April, Santander UK published the Tomorrow’s Homes report, which looks at the barriers to improving energy efficiency, and how the UK Government can overcome these. This roundtable will discuss the findings on reducing carbon emissions from the UK’s building stock and explore: The role of buildings efficiency in the UK’s path to net zero; how the government could support households and building owners; the role of private finance; how the government could better support the supply chain and skills development and what we can learn about building decarbonisation from other countries.
