About this Event
Join east London residents, community organisations, and UCL researchers to explore how climate change and the environment affect our health – locally and globally. This creative, event will look ahead to future connections for on-going research collaborations and strengthening inclusion of people often excluded from climate and health research.
Expect thought-provoking discussions, artistic engagement, and networking opportunities building on the following themes of the Canvas series:
• How does climate change impact health locally in east London and globally?
• What are the solutions for better involving people excluded from climate, environment and health research?
• Collaborating with artists to share local knowledge and research about climate change and health

Canvas is a collaboration between the Wellcome Trust funded project PAICE (a partnership between UCL and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), UCL East, UCL’s Institute for Global Health and the Evaluation Exchange, working with community groups, researchers and artists.
Canvas uses creative ways to share different people's knowledge, values and experiences that shape our understanding of the relationship between the environment and health. This is the final event in the Canvas series of creative events that have been exploring how climate and the environment impacts health in east London, and how to strengthen inclusion of people often excluded from climate and health research.
