Building, Design and Community

Welcome to our exciting event focusing on building, design, and community! Join us at North Finchley Library for an afternoon filled with insightful discussions, hands-on workshops, and creative opportunities. At the workshop, we will identify unused and unloved local buildings which can be reimagined for new uses. The Adaptive Reuse of existing buildings is one of the key ways we can tackle Climate Change. Rather than knock down buildings, with the subsequent waste of materials and CO2 discharge, we will imagine alternative uses for old structures in order to revitalise the community.
