Building a Sustainable Future with Biomaterials

Virtual Delivering net zero and resilient London & UK By registration Design Innovation and Technology Nature Other

About this Event

In pursuit of net-zero targets, architects and designers are increasingly turning to natural materials sourced from renewable bio-based sources. Consequently, biomaterial research has advanced significantly.

During this year’s London Climate Action Week, this webinar aims to explore the potential of biomaterials in design. Our panellists will discuss the range of biomaterial usage, whilst delving into some of the challenges hindering wider adoption, such as accreditation, fire safety and market competition. Drawing from their expertise and experience, they will suggest potential solutions for broader adoption in the UK.
