This high-level roundtable will bring together European and Australian leaders to explore opportunities for clean trade and industrial decarbonisation, focusing on key sectors such as iron, chemicals, fuels and aluminium.
It will examine the role of open trade in achieving least cost abatement pathways how both regions can collaborate on sustainable finance, cross-border investment, and nature-positive practices to accelerate industrial transition, support biodiversity, and strengthen economic and climate outcomes. As Europe faces rising geopolitical and energy pressures, the dialogue aims to identify practical, scalable pathways that align climate ambition with industrial resilience and regenerative development.
