Air quality in construction: Innovations in reducing polluting emissions
80 Charlotte Street, London W1T 4QS
About this Event
The construction industry, responsible for 21% of global carbon emissions, faces a significant challenge in air pollution, contributing approximately 30% of particulate matter (PM10) in London alone.
On Clean Air Day 2024, from 5.30-7.30pm Arup and Impact on Urban Health are hosting a panel event to share expert insights into the tools and solutions the construction industry are using to reduce polluting emissions and improve air quality. Chaired by James Bellinger, Associate Director, Arup, our panel includes experts from Bouygues UK, The London Borough of Merton and HS2.
Arup is a global collective of designers, engineers and sustainability consultants, advisors and experts dedicated to sustainable development, using imagination, technology and rigour to shape a better world.
Impact on Urban Health aims to remove the obstacles to good health, by making urban areas healthier places for everyone to live.
