About this Event
Global Parametrics, a CelsiusPro Group company, is delighted to host “Advancing Climate Resilience: The Natural Disaster Fund (NDF)” at London Climate Action Week, on June 27th at Mansion House.
Our invitational morning session from 08:30-14:00, will be a high-level gathering bringing together leaders from the disaster risk finance community, government agencies, and multilateral and humanitarian organisations to explore how blended capital can scale insurance innovation for climate resilience. Please contact us to request an invite.
Our exclusive Insurance Networking event is from 14:00-16:00 at Mansion House, kindly find registration link below (limited capacity).
The NDF is a public-private partnership designed to make climate risk and natural catastrophe insurance more accessible to vulnerable communities in the Global South.
The NDF provides parametric risk transfer coverage to both the public and private sectors, ensuring a broad and inclusive approach for response and recovery efforts, business continuity, and protection against losses and damages.
While the climate protection gap is a global challenge, low-and-middle-income countries bear a disproportionate burden. Many are underserved by traditional insurance markets, leaving entire communities without financial safety nets when disasters strike.
The Mansion House is a fitting and historic venue for this important conversation on closing the global protection gap and advancing public-private risk finance solutions for climate resilience. We look forward to welcoming you.
