🌿 Living Cities: A thriving walk through King’s Cross regeneration

King’s Cross, North London — Starting at Renewal and Regeneration Hub, 79-81 Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross London N1C 4DQ

About this Event

🍃 Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of London’s most remarkable green transformations. Discover how a once-forgotten industrial site became a vibrant neighbourhood where nature, community and innovation flourish side by side.

Led by sustainability and ecology experts from Related Argent (the developers behind King’s Cross) and Greengage (environmental consultants driving its nature strategies), this guided walk will take you through the heart of regenerative design in action. You’ll learn how cutting-edge urban ecology is being woven into the fabric of the city — from Agrisound technology supporting pollinators in ornamental plantings to green roofs with integrated solar panels and newly created habitats for wildlife.

We’ll explore how King’s Cross is building climate resilience while delivering on the ambition of Biodiversity Net Gain — aiming to boost local biodiversity by at least 10%.

Perfect for unwinding after a busy week during London Climate Action Week, this walk offers a chance to learn more about how nature is being integrated into one of the largest urban redevelopments in Europe.

This event is co-hosted by Regen City and The Green Londoner.
